MEET YOUR HOSTS

Hayden Shearman

Hayden is the founder and head coach of TempoFit. Since discovering running in his 20s (after growing up surfing and skateboarding at every spare moment) and has taken to the trails and training like a duck to water. Passion for his own running soon became passion for coaching others to achieve their goals and running coaching is now his full-time gig. And yes, he still occasionally hits waves or the halfpipe.

Hamish Meacheam

From a self-confessed unpromising start to his running career in high school, Hamish beavered away and soon found himself as one of New Zealand's top junior middle distance runners. This led to him gaining an athletic scholarship to Lamar University in the States. He now heads up Parafed (which provides sporting opportunities for Kiwis with disabilities) and is a TempoFit coach. His current running endeavours include a tendency toward the ultra long distances and mind-bending events like 50 times around a 2k road course.
